“Hi! I’m Tessa! I’m a cat! I’m here to rub your left leg, then the right one, make sure you notice that I’m a friendly, fine Cat Woman. Are you noticing? I am grey, very grey, with subtle stripes and overtones. I walk around in a large circle, then I come back to give you some discreet sniffs. Do I smell other cats on your leg? Goodness, human, I think you need another dash of eau de Tessa.”

“I’m a mover and a shaker – and, especially, a climber. I go up, up, up. I look down. I see you, human. I see those other cats. I’m a happy woman. Sometimes, I squeak! ‘Meek! Meek!’ ‘Meek’ means pet me, pet my sweet grey slightly striped cat head – also my back. ‘Meek!’”

“I like it up here. I can see all, know all, study all. People won’t step on my tail when I’m up here. And other cats won’t sniff my tail – unless, of course, they climb up here. I can see out the windows. I see birds fly by and people walk by. I am Tessa – I see and know many things.”

“You know what else? I’m a bunkin’ – not a pumpkin – a bunkin’. A bunkin’ is someone sweet and cuddly who squeaks – but also has spunk. That would be Tessa. Call me your little bunkin’ – give me a hug. Give me some treats and munchies. Give me love. I am Tessa, a fine Cat Woman. Yes, I came here with Gigi – that calico flirt over there. We’ve lived together. We could live together again if our forever people wanted us to. But, honestly, I don’t need her in my life. She probably doesn’t need me, either.”

“I’ll tell you what I do need – you! You, my person, my forever person-people-human, large huggy. Tessa will hug you, rub you, sniff you and climb up high and look down and smile upon you. I am a fine Cat.
