Hi, there! It’s about time you stopped by to get the full story straight from the cat’s mouth. I’m a quiet, proud, very noble, almost regal, exceptionally friendly super cat guy with a great imagination. A simple fellow with one big wish – people in my life! People who like a bit of cat nuzzling because I’m a nuzzler and a schmoozer. I’d also like to lead a parade.
Truth in Advertising: I’m not really all white. I didn’t intend to be white at all. Notice my fine tabby tail. I intended to be a fine tabby, but I ran out of tabby paint. Put the few remaining daubs on myself in strategic places and headed back to the store for more paint. The clerk said, “Sorry, young man, we are all out of tabby paint. All we have left right now is lizard green.” I said, “Sorry, I’m just not a lizard green sort of guy.” So, here I am, mostly white, with a bit of elegant tabby. True, white requires extra washing – my tongue can get very tired – but it’s better than lizard green!
Now I’m approaching middle age – that would be 6 - 8 years old in cat time – and I’ve decided it’s time for a nice, warm, indoor home with lovey people and a lap or two. I lived outside for quite a while, people put food out for me. Believe me, I was smart enough to hang around and eat it up. But it’s time for laps and a sofa and good cat food in the kitchen where blue jays and squirrels can’t mess with it. My food. Whitey’s food. All mine. Warm. Good. Nice. No more damage to my fine ears. Very fine ears.
One of the blue jays asked me, “Hey, are you the famous pitcher Whitey Ford?” I told him, “Yes.” Thought it might cause him to stay out of my food. It didn’t. I found a baseball here at Feline Rescue. I heard it belonged to Joe Meower. I discovered I couldn’t pitch worth a darn. I’m Whitey Not Ford. Also Whitey Not Lizard Green. I am looking for my Lovey People with a warm indoor home, no blue jays, and a lap or two. If you’re my Lovey People, please bring $120 in fine money, take me home, and offer me a fine lap. I’d like that very much.
PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
