I see you! I am ready! I’m Nicky, a little tabby girl. I am dainty, polite, well-mannered and ready to head off to kindergarten and play with all the toys. A nice young man, maybe an engineering student, found me wandering around the University of Minnesota. I was trying to enroll, wanted to study entomology, but I couldn’t find the right office. The young man said, “Nicky, you don’t look old enough for college. I think you first need kittengarten.” So here I am – waiting to head to kittengarten. Will you help me get there? Please?
“Oh, no! I just noticed that I’ve lost part of my tail! Oh, dear! I’ve no idea when or how that happened! Oh, no! Yes, I suppose it does make me even cuter, but still, I don’t want to lose any more of me. I’m quite small as it is. Oh, dear! I think you had better take me home and cuddle me, keep me safe, don’t you think?”
The big guy next door says I’m very smart. “Nicky, girl, I see you over there just figuring things out. I hear all those brain wheels going around and studying. What intrigues you, cute girl?”
I told him, “Bugs intrigue me. Entomology, don’t you know? I’m looking for some. Don’t seem to be any here.” He said, “Of course not. I ate them all.”
“Oh, dear. He ate bugs. I think I’d better eat some munchies!” Nicky is dainty when she eats. She carefully eats her munchies one at a time, not big gulping mouthfuls like some of those guy cats walking around. One munchy at a time. When I’m done, I take a small slurp of water. Then I thoroughly wash my face, my paws, my little claws. You want to adopt a clean cat, right? I am a clean cat, polite and well-mannered. You want to adopt a clean, polite, well-mannered little cat girl to live, learn, and play in your kittengarten? Of course you do!
Here I am. Your new tabby girl. Cute, smart, ready! Just stop over here with $100 and take me home. That’s my message – simple, sweet – just like me. Miss Nicky!
PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
