Please do! Admire me! I am Willa, and I am the essence of fascinating torbie. I’m doing the talking here because my little sister Rococo does more meditating than she does talking. I’m quiet, but I’ll walk up to you, give you a “Are you my friend?” leg rub, and then settle down to see what you’ll do. I’d like to tell our story and make a heartfelt request.
Our story: I’ve been with Feline Rescue since I was a little bitty kitten. As you can see – notice my recent photo – I’m not a wittlebitty kitten any more. I’m a wonderful adult cat woman who sparkles in the sun – all gold and black and gray and orange and white – possibly even green and purple! A precious gem would be a good way to think of me. Your jewel! Me – Willa. People rescued me and my sister Rococo, along with our Momma Kit and sister Gin Gin.We were little bitty kittens, too, so we all lived in a foster home. It was warm and dry, but we need our own forever place(s). Momma Kit and Gin Gin have found their true home, so Rococo and I are hoping you have ours for us.
Momma Kit raised us to be rather wary. When your children are small and you’re all alone, you’re just wary – and with lots of good reasons. Momma Kit never said much, but we knew she was wise.
We've learned, in our time with Feline Rescue that most people are wonderful – really wonderful – and offer up love and food and toys and even big delicious clumps of kitty grass. See me over there with my sisters Gin Gin and Rococo? We are happy, happy! But do excuse me and Rococo, too, if, at first, we just give you The Look – the one that means, “Uh, oh, sister – it’s a new human. Check it out carefully.” But, once we’ve checked you out – and found you to be real, friendly, and given to saying, “Awww….aren’t you nice ladies!”, we will issue our heartfelt request:
Please take us home with you forever and ever. Two by two - we’ve been together so long – we’ll be much happier – and so will you – if we can stay together. Willa and Rococo - the two of us will blend beautifully into your life – and your lap(s). We do laps. Two cats – one lap. Two laps – a cat for each. Whatever our people want. We’re easy and loving. Can’t say no, can you? Here we are - Willa – that’s me, and sister Rococo. Two for the price of two - $100 each. We’re going home – to the place where we belong! Your place! Our true home!
PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
