Daisy is one big armful of lovin’ kitty. Seriously. Last time I checked, she weighed nearly 16 pounds. She’s only about 2 years old, but I think that last growth spurt was about it. Please don’t misunderstand -- there isn’t an ounce of fat on her. Daisy is just built like an All-Star Wrestler. Fortunately, there are no other similarities. In fact, Daisy is one of the more lady-like kitties I’ve ever met. Oddly though, she doesn’t seem to have a clue that she’s outgrown my lap or that the cat tree sways precariously when she scales it.
Daisy was born in a Feline Rescue foster home and raised with lots of hugs & smooches and spoiled like crazy (as kitties should be). She plays well with the other cats and kittens, & doesn't take advantage of being bigger at all. In fact, she's a little shy about joining in (no dominant personality issues for Daisy!!) even with the smallest of other fosters. In fact, overall, Daisy is a very mild-mannered, quiet kitty. And despite her size, I think her face, with (slightly crossed) green eyes and pale pink nose, is adorable!
Daisy faithfully sleeps on my bed every night and likes to nap there during the day. She adores laptime, especially n the evening, when I read or watch TV. But we sometimes run into a bit of a space issue if another kitty is already settled there. As she approaches, I can imagine her thinking, “no problem, I’ll fit right Here!” Unfortunately, Daisy has a tendency to underestimate how much lap she needs. I do try to catch her butt & slide her over a bit, but I can tell it hurts her feelings (she's sensitive).
All in all, Daisy is unique: adorable, adorING, playful, and, yes, “dainty” (but you have to get to know her to appreciate that). She and I have talked about her Special Purrson – someone who is looking just for her, but hasn’t found her yet. Someone who will appreciate every little thing about her – and, um, the big things too. She’s waiting for you. Just take a look at those eyes – You can tell!
Daisy's adoption fee is $115.
