Perky Grey Tabby Gymnast

“Hi, there! Notice me!” I deserve to be noticed. I am Janelle. I have a tiny nose, tiny toes, a tiny face – and a very big brain. I know many things. One thing I know – because I looked – my official sign says I’m a dilute tortie. You can call me a dilute tortie if you want. You know what they say, “Call me anything, but call me!” Personally, I think I’m really a sweet grey tabby with one pink spot on top of my head! Check out my tail – see the picture? Looks tabby – tabby to me!

So why do I have a pink spot on my head? Because I like it. It’s cute – and it’s perky – like me. I’m perky, bouncy, and quite adorable.  I’m quite the little gymnast – with these tiny paws I can do the parallels better than just about anyone. I do the two-legged stand, stretch, and jump for the peacock feather. I’ve won real medals doing that. Yes, OK, I ate the medals….We perky gymnast types do such things.

When I’m not turning hand stands and rolling barrels, I’m an excellent student. Excuse me while I look around you and study carefully those sassy women across the way. I think they are looking at me. I am studying them so well that I can tell you just how many whiskers they have. See, the more a perky little girl knows, the safer she is. If I know how many whiskers they have, they can’t use their whiskers to cast spells on me. They might try that, you know!

How about if you carry me around a bit and cuddle me? See how soft (and perky) I am? Now, don’t take me too close to those spell casters! I think I’d better give them a hiss. I won’t hiss you, though. I think you might be my human. I came all the way from Marshall, Minnesota, just to find my human. You’re here – I know you’re here! And you’ve got $100 so I can go home with you. I’m Janelle. I’m perky. I’m well-balanced, and I have a cute pink spot on my little girl head. Shall we?
