“Before you ask, I think I’ll just try to explain myself. Yes, I am Seseme – with all ees – no “a” as in Sesame. Why? Because I am a soft,  gentle, rather timid soul – despite my size – and “a” is just too strong and harsh for me. We cats think about these things, you see.”

I had a good, kind human who loved me, but she had to move to one of those “assisted living” places. I’m not sure what that means. I tried to be good at “assisting”, but I guess it just wasn’t enough. I don’t understand at all why a good human can’t take her good cats to this place. We aren’t undisciplined and dangerous – never, ever. And certainly not me.

I’m just a kind quiet gentleman, about five years old, I believe. I get along quite well with other quiet, kind cats. Sometimes I even let Baborak share my space. I don’t do well with anything that moves fast – rambunctious kittens, Jack Russell terriers, small children, or bumblebees. I do like calm people, though. I’ll let them pet me, and I’ll join them in their space. If I shrink away, it’s only because something – I don’t even remember what – happened a long time ago. Please don’t take it personally; Seseme very much wants to be friends!

“Am I Siamese or Himalayan? Well, yes and no. I certainly have the right colors, don’t I? But I also have these precious, clean white feet. I think they are for walking in snow – which I hope not to ever have to do. So we could call me Nepalese? Or maybe Minnesotan? Start a whole new breed – direct from Lake Wobegon and quite above average.”

Would you like to try that? I would. How about you come over to Feline Rescue, bring $100, and take soft, shy, gentle Seseme home with you? You don’t have any raucous kittens or bumblebees, do you? Good. Very good.

PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
