About Itty Bitty | |

“Ah, me, me, me. I don’t do meow. I get as far as ‘me!’, and I decide I’ve made enough talk for now. I think Itty Bitty suits me. I’m about 4 years old, and I’ve been a Mom, and I’m still not very big. Just like my words – not very big – but very clear and meaningful. ‘Me!’ Itty Bitty.”
My face is round and little – or should I say “itty”? My wittle itty round face. I’m very white – and very black. No shades of grey here. No front claws here, either. I had some people, but they just couldn’t keep it all going, I guess. They did call me Itty Bitty. I still like that.
I’ll tell you what else I like. I like people who pet me, say “Oh, you sweet little girl…you’re so little, so wittle….awww.” When you give me love, I’ll roll over on my back, look at you, stick all my legs up in the air, and wave my tail! It’s what I do to let you know that I’ve got some silly left in me. Oh, yes I do!
“Say, what’s going on over there? There’s a person over there waving some kind of toy at that cat who claims to be a Norwegian. I don’t believe it; put some lutefisk in front of him – I’ll bet he won’t jump like that. He’ll run and hide behind the washtub. I certainly would! How about waving a toy for me?”
“Yes, yes! See? Excellent eye – paw coordination. I nab it every time. Told you I had some silly. I also have exquisite light blue-green eyes; they do coordinate so well with my white and black paws. I watch everything. I’m a watcher. An alert watcher. A people watcher. A people friend. Pet me. Talk to me.”
I’m not very big, but I’m smart. Lots of smarts per square inch of Itty Bitty Cat. I want to play. I want to roll. I want – most of all – to go home with you. “Me, me, me.” No lutefisk. Not Norwegian. Toy, please. More toy. More you. An itty bitty $100 takes me to your place forever. I’ll hug you. I’ll show my silly – and my excellent eye-paw coordination. “Me! Me!”
PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
