Mighty - With Three Freckles

“Greetings, fine humans. I am Titan, coming to you from my tower of power somewhere behind an endless cloud. I do not speak often, but when I do, you will hear the voice of authority and knowledge. I am a mighty orator, a Titan among giants, as they say.” I also sing – basso profundo, indeed. 

Now that you’ve agreed that I am awesome – fine solid large head, sinewy muscles, and pure tabby power, I confess. The mighty Titan has freckles….three freckles on his nose. Not five or nine or one – three – three freckles. When the mighty Titan arrived at Feline Rescue, he was not so mighty. Oh, his power was in him, but his leg was injured. He could not muster his full power to inspire awe. Now, he can – so long as he has a grain-free diet – the kind of diet a nocturnal carnivore was meant to have.

The newly re-mightied Titan likes people. He does not have issues. He yawns. He stretches, He puts his mighty tabby paws out to you, and says, “See my freckles? Am I cute – or am I handsome?” Both? “Oooh, I might be in love!” Titan is deep and wise. Titan explains all. He may be right. He may be wrong. But he always sounds good. He is Titan. You are falling in love….

“Fine humans – I am a fine cat. Take note of my excellent tail with well-spaced wide rings. Look into my jeweled blue-green eyes. See how they sparkle. See how my freckles twinkle. Freckles! Listen, I am a serious Guy Cat – mighty, solid, strong. Freckles. Listen, I’m not saying I’m tough or anything – but I have a Harley belt buckle hidden under this blankie. OK, I give in. Freckles…How about you sit down and make me a lap and I’ll sit in it – and I’ll purr – power and might and freckles and all? Then all you have to do is give these fine Feline Rescue humans $100, and I’ll give my Harley buckle to my roomie here for good luck. And we’ll go home, home, home – Titan and his fine human(s)!
