A little black cat, a little black cat, I'm Will, a little black cat. I'm young (yeah), have a triangle of white on my tummy, and round gold eyes. My foster mommy calls me her little stinker and says I'm one of a kind because I only have one and a quarter ears. I don't remember what happened to my ear but she says I look quirky and adorable just the way I am.

I was living outside for months and months, slipping through people's yards and trying to stay safe, because it's scary out there when you're a little fellow on your own. A lady was feeding me and although I was skinny and a little messy, I was holding my own until it got cold and wet. The lady enticed me inside and I have been warm and cozy ever since. I even have a round little tummy to show off.

Now that I don't have to worry about food and safety, I've been able to relax. My foster mommy says I have a big imagination. I create my own games. My favorite is "run behind the chair and play with yarn". My next favorite is "rip up the catnip gingerbread man". I'm really good at that one. I love my catnip kicker and my little yarn balls. I chase my yarn balls and toss them around. I guess I'm doing a really good job at not using my teeth and claws in plays - my foster mommy says I'm a real fast learner.

I love people. Being carried around is really fun and I'm learning to clamber up on laps to have a nap. When I'm near my foster mommy, I stretch out as far as I can on my side and touch her foot so she knows I'm there, or I sit next to her chair. When she comes into my room, I run over to be picked up. I like hugs. Sometimes I run over, slap her leg, then run away - that's fun.

Although I love my foster mommy, I love other people too and want to have my very own home. There are too many cats around here, and I'm not sure like other cats. They were mean to me when I was on the streets and gave me something called FIV. They scare me, and I don't want to go outside because that's scary too. I want to be the only kitty in my home.
