Anchorman

“Good evening. In Washington today, the President’s dog ate the proposed budget. More on this big story in a moment, but first, this message….” I am Randy. I was born to be an anchorman. With my almost tuxedo outfit, my salt and pepper ears – white on black, and my long legs – how could I be anything other than an anchorman? Besides, it’s hard to find a Cat who can use a teleprompter….

I have no idea why my ex-people left me here at Feline Rescue. I am an excellent Cat. I like people. People are interesting. When I look at a people, it says, “What a handsome fellow you are!” I think, “I knew that.” I suppose my ex-people had some kind of people issues. People have issues a lot. Cats do not have issues. We do have strong opinions, however. My opinion is that there are too many cats in here. I understand I came here with one other fellow – Rudy over there. But not a dozen or two. Too many.

But – you can solve that opinion right now. Adopt me. Take me to your place where you won’t have a dozen or two other cats. Randy likes attention. Randy likes toys to play with. Randy likes people to watch him play with toys. He does not want to share them with dozens of other cats. Maybe one other, but that’s it! Randy wants His People. His Forever People.

Randy’s Forever People need an anchorman wearing an almost tuxedo with handsome salt and pepper ears. Wear White, and Randy will provide Black fur to prove that you belong to him. Wear Black, and, yes, he will provide White fur to prove the same. Randy is waiting to be your articulate and sonorous anchorman.
