The world has leaders. The world has followers. And then - the world has beings like me. I have a mind of my own. I am not interested in being the leader. When I first came here, a couple of cats said, "Oh, Amber, you seem wise. Show me how to be a better cat." I said to them, "Figure it out yourselves. I am not your leader - nor your coach - nor your mama. And please don't follow me around. Thank you." I am also not into following anybody else. Alpha cats - not in my world, please. I am myself, and I would like very much to bond with a wise human (or two) who appreciates my independent - and quite sharp - mind. Respect. Equality. Independence. Could we do it?

I see you want to know about my name. I can tell you're thinking, "She's black and white. How come she's called Amber?" Take a look at my eyes. Do you see amber? How about Amber? How about AMBER? I know - if I'd stop moving around and settle a bit, I have the eyes to land a gig modeling for cat food labels. But I'm busy searching out stories. They are all over the place here. I don't want to miss any. I need to open this door - could you show me how? I'm independent, but I believe firmly in cooperation. Would you cooperate? All right! So how much does the cat food label gig pay? Do I get to sing in the commercials, too? That would be good. How about $100? $100 would get me out of here and into your world. I'd like to go there.
