Justin Bieber With Better Hair

“Good afternoon! People call me Schmokey, but I think I am more the color of a Thunderhead than of Smoke. Whatever you call me, you will call me handsome – and cute – and adorable. Maybe you will even swoon! The girl cats around here – yes, especially that fluffy tortie begging you to let her in my apartment – well, they just call me Justin Bieber. And my fur isn’t even falling in my eyes! But I can sing.”

“I’m a year or two old, and I prefer people to all those squealy girls – although adoration is nice. People play with me. People bring me toys. People are good to follow. Sometimes, they go where there is food. Sometimes, they even bring it to me. Fabulous! I talk to people. Mrawh? Mrawh? “

“Yes, I have stunning green eyes – and they tell you that I’m a smart fellow, don’t they? You’ll find this hard to believe, but I was once out there lost all by myself. I took myself to a farm because I know farms have, at least, some mice a guy might eat, and, maybe, kind farm people who’d offer me something better. Mice can be old and tough, and their hair gets caught in the teeth. Ugh!”

“You’ll find this even harder to believe, but the kind farm people said I was all bedraggled and skinny and dirty when I arrived. Hey, as they say, I clean up nicely, don’t I? And I’m dignified – and quite kind myself. I’m so happy that you’re listening to me – and talking to me – and petting me – and keeping Miss Tortie and her dreamy eyes out of my food.”

”I have a really good idea. Adopt me! $100 gets you a fine, handsome, adorable, pop star guy cat who wants to follow you around. And your $100 gets me a home with you. That would be so good. I’m guessing the food will be good, too. Take me home! Take Schmokey home! Just do it.”
