Tiny Tortie With Big Heart

If you’re an emotional sort, you might want to have your hanky ready before you read my story. But it will turn out OK because you’ll want to take me home and love on me, and you’ll find out that I love you back.

I’m Imogene, a tiny tortie girl. Imogene – an old-fashioned name – the girl who never got the guy in the B movies of the 1930s. The hard luck girl – had to take a tough job in the factory to support her widowed mother. Is the hanky ready? Someone left me at Feline Rescue’s front door. No matter that I’m tiny. No matter that something happened to my right eye. No matter that, somehow, I acquired the feline leukemia virus. A hard luck girl indeed.

Here’s my good news. I can see just fine out of my good eye, maybe even a little from the other. I don’t walk into walls, and I can jump up and down and land where I intend to land. In fact, I rather like bouncing around this room. Bounce! Bounce! Sometimes, I bounce on the orange fellow. He doesn’t seem to mind. He lets me bounce. Now, I’m not saying that I’m finally going to get the guy – not even sure that I want him – he purrs very loud. But life is OK. Life is even pretty good. The food here is excellent, and I’m sure that, when you take me home, you’ll give me excellent food, too. Right?

Imogene is snuggly and sweet and likes people. Special vets checked my eye and found that’s not causing any pain or problems; it just looks funny and doesn’t work. As long as I eat my good food and don’t live outdoors or with cats who don’t have the FeLV, I should be just fine. I’m quiet and lap-size for even size 8 people.

I like peace and quiet, not a lot of yahooing and yowling. I like blankets and soft cat beds and food. I like petting and purring. I like crunchies. I’d like it a lot if you would take me home and snuggle me. Only $120, and you’ll have a special cat girl, and I will get my people – better than getting a guy!
