Sleek Tabby With Tortie Notes

“Say, you wouldn’t happen to have any special cat treats in that bag, would you? It’s not that I’m hungry – yes, I have a bowl of munchies right here. It’s just that I like treats – and it’s my way of finding out if you’re a friend. So, do you have any?”

OK, you’re right. I should introduce myself first before just brazenly seeking goodies. Sorry, I forgot my manners. So, I’m Jasmine, and I’m a small, sleek, tabby with tortie notes. You know – like wine? Sleek, softly fruity, with pear notes and a hint of rain? No pear notes here – just tortie notes in an overall tabby pastiche.

I think I’m a year or two old – not sure. I’m told I once had some people, but they moved away and left me behind. They left my fine roomie, Gypsy, behind, too. What is the matter with people, anyway? I mean – I’m a good cat, a nice cat, a reasonably quiet cat – and a very clean cat. I wash religiously lest anyone say, “That cat is dirty.” I wash Gypsy, too - especially her sweet little tortie head.

I am Jasmine, an upstanding tabby woman – with tortie notes, and I am seeking new, permanent, reliable, loving, and amusing people. How about you?

I am Jasmine, and I am good for lots of things – sitting in windows, sitting on people feet, sleeping on people beds, sleeping in a cat bed, chewing on fat strings, sailing across rooms, lots of things. Do pay attention to my intelligent face; I know many things, and I am still learning more. We could have fun – would you like to have fun? Sometimes, I have to give some of these other cats a hiss – or two. I’m just saying, “Get out of my way, you dingbat – I’m on a mission.” It’s not mean or nasty – just factual.

I’m a factual cat. A very clean cat. A very smart cat. I will enhance your life. You will enhance my life. How about a good thing?
