Plays Well With Feathers

“Yes, hello, good afternoon! Yes, that’s Karolyn with a “K”, not a “C”, because any ordinary cat can be Carolyn with a “C”, but it takes a very special and striking lady like me to earn a “K”. I think I’m only about 2 or 3 years old, but I’ve heard some of the guys around here refer to me as a cougar. And I don’t think they mean “puma” or “mountain lion”. I think they mean alluring older woman. Well, boys, I am not older!”

“I do turn heads when I stroll by. The tabby part of me, which is most of me, is perfect. Symmetrical, well-shaded, well-striped. And the white part of me is perfect, too. Very white, clean white – no munchie crumbs in the fur.” “I do like to play. Here, bring that feathered thing over. Watch! I will dance. I will leap. Listen closely, you’ll hear me chirp. I’ll burble and giggle. And, young man, go ahead, call me a cougar again. See how fast this cougar moves and takes that jingle ball away from you. Yes, I’m quite stunning to look at, but don’t mess with me. I prefer people to silly little boys!”

Karolyn is a Cat’s Cat. She does all the things a Cat should do – and none of the things a Cat shouldn’t do – like put mangled mice in people shoes. Never! Karolyn has manners. She loves to be petted by good people. She likes to sit coyly in the hidey beds. She lived outside for quite a while, and she does not want to ever live out there again. No, she wants to live with her forever people, play with toys, chase feathers, and stay warm. If you are her forever people, please come to Feline Rescue with $120. Say she is a striking cat woman. Say she is your cat, now and forever. She will be happy.
