Watch Me Run!

“Watch me run! Watch me run! I am Shiva, and I trot like a fox. But I am not a fox, nay, I am a fancy cat, softest of the soft, and a member of the Fabulous Tail Club. I run and trot to show off my Fabulous Tail. It is me. I am I. I am Shiva.”

“I am small and black with dashes of tortie – and did I mention my Fabulous Tail? I took my name from a powerful Hindu god – he said I could borrow it because I am such a charming and delightful young lady. Isn’t that nice? I don’t know if he loaned me any special powers, but, with this Tail, I really don’t need any, I don’t think. Do you?”

“More about me – because there is so much to tell, and I am having so much fun and being so cute. A friendly person found me in a tree! I was just up there – climbed up, looked back down, and said, ‘Uh, oh, girl, now you’ve done it. How are you going to get back down on the ground?’ I mean I was scared to even look that far down, much less try to get there. Maybe it looked further than it was, I don’t know, but the friendly person came up and carried me down. Whew! Won’t do that again – especially not if you’ll take me home and keep me indoors, away from trees.”

“And you’d so much like to take me home, wouldn’t you? I’m Shiva, I’m outgoing and active but quiet – mostly. I’ll chirp and trot to greet you when I see you. I’m young, maybe a year. And did I mention that I belong to the Fabulous Tail Club? Only $120 takes me to your place, where I will be cuddly and charming and very, very soft. And you’ll keep trees away from me – I know you will!
