“Wonder what a cat named Spike looks like? Check out my pictures. I look like a Spike – because Spike is who I am. I am a large tabby tiger with the face of a big tiger – the face of a full-grown jungle-patrolling, savannah-strolling tiger. Believe me, if I had a jungle or a savannah, I’d be sitting up high, just like I am now, waiting for something worth pouncing to absent-mindedly walk by.”
“Yes, I’m an independent yet flirtatious fellow waiting for a human. I like humans. I flirt with humans. Want to pet me? Sure you do. Not tall enough to reach me? If you’re really sweet to me, I might come down where you could pet me. I might. Tell me how handsome I am. C’mon, tell me again.”
“Wonder what a cat named Spike does when he has no jungle and no savannah? Why, he rides his Harley, of course. What do you mean, you don’t see a Harley in here? It’s right there – well-detailed custom art, too. See the picture of the big cat in the saddle? That’s me – who else would it be? Cannot believe you can’t see a big old bike! Belongs to Spike – gonna ride now!”
“I came here with my two brothers – Tiger Magee and Midnight Blue. Tiger Magee gussied up his fancy long hair and got himself adopted. Personally, I like my short marine-type look better. Less wind resistance. Also less hairballs. Oh, sorry – the folks here at Feline Rescue did say we aren’t supposed to talk about hairballs, didn’t they? So indelicate of me. I’ve no idea what a hairball is. Really. Neither does Midnight Blue. He’s the black dude hiding behind my Harley.”
Say, you flirty, friendly person, you. How about a flirty, friendly biker cat? How about a guy who does a mean routine with a feathered wand toy? Even growls to protect his toy. I’m a cool guy – no doubt about it. $120 takes me – and the Harley you claim not to see – to your place. Spike! Me! A dude!
