“Hi, there! I don’t suppose you’ve got any questions about my name – at least, once you see me in person, you won’t have any. And, no, it’s not because I look as though I might be smiling. It’s because when you take just one look, you will be smiling! It’s what I do for people. I give them Smiles!”
I’m a long-legged long black and white girl. I’m a good cat, a fine cat, and I want to be friends with all people – and make all people smile. I know, I said, “Come in! Come in! Come see me! Don’t miss me! I will make you smile.” It worked, didn’t it? Here you are. Let’s play. Let’s cuddle.
I could have been a tuxedo cat, seeing as how I’m black and white. But, you know, any old cat can be a tuxedo – and only Smiley can make people smile. I’m a mellow middle-aged woman, and I love being loved by my people. So sad, the person I had died – crossed the rainbow bridge as we cats say. We cats understand, but we still feel sad. And here I am, smiling away, hoping that you will come and smile with me, help me create my new life. I had just one person before; I think I’d like just one, maybe two a most, for the next chapter.
People around Feline Rescue say Smiley is good-hearted, kind, and, of course, cheerful and cheergiviing. Smiley may have been a 3rd grade teacher or a day care leader in her former life. She makes people feel good about themselves – and about her. She’d just rather feel good with adults this time. If you’re a smiling adult – or an adult who needs to smile, Smiley is your cat. She’s waiting, she’s smiling, she’s playing with the toys. Please come in and bring your $120. You’ll smile when you do.
PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
