“I’m brown, I’m black, I’m striped. I’m a tabby guy. I’m young, I’m spunky, and I play rugby. What else do you want to know? I know a fellow must play rugby if he has a striped shirt – and I certainly do – have a striped shirt, I mean. I’m working on my British accent, can’t play rugby with a New Jersey yowl, can I?”

“What? Yes, for the moment, I answer to Baby 2 – insofar as any cat answers to anything, of course. No, I don’t look much like a Baby any more – but a teenage rascal I can surely be. Hee-ya! Baby 2 is my traveling name. It got me here to Feline Rescue, and it will get me into your forever life. If you’re my people, and I think you just might be, I’ll disclose my sacred name. We cats have sacred names – and profane names. We share our sacred names with our people and, sometimes, our feline soul mates.”

“Who am I? I am a perfect tabby. I love any sport that involves kicking a ball – large one, small one, doesn’t matter. I do mischief, oh, yes, but you’ll laugh because it’s good mischief – and I am oh so creative. Who am I? Butch? Duke? Rocky? A Flying Squirrel? None of those, no. Want to arm wrestle? Here’s how we do it: we wrap all of me around your arm – might want to wear a sleeve….Ya-ha!”

“Who am I? I am Baby 2 for now – witness protection program, you know. I have a serious brown nose, white walrus whiskers, and two freckles – just two – one on each side of my nose. Am I your forever cat? Are you my forever people? We are going to have fun, fun, fun…until Daddy takes my T-Bird away. (I just had to say that.)

“Let’s do it. Bring $120 to Feline Rescue. Walk up to the sign that says “Baby 2 – This Way”. See my sassy tabby face. Fall in love. Take me home….On the way there, I’ll reveal my sacred name – because you’re right – I don’t quite look like Baby – or act like Baby – any more. Hee-Ya-Hii!”

If you'd like to know more about me, just stop in at the Adoption Center to meet me or leave a message for my secretary at 651-642-5900 ext. 3. She'll call you back.
