Bring Me Love and Happy

“Ah, what is the meaning of my life? I know – that doesn’t sound much like a question a Tiffany would ask. I suppose it sounds more like a Hildegarde or an Emily, but I am Tiffany, and I do not know the purpose of my life. And I would like to. Sounds easy. Very tough. Perhaps you are the purpose of my life?”

“I am a simple, kind, gentle, quiet cat. Just a cat – not a magic cat nor a super cat – just a light calico woman seeking a clear life. I’m quite nice. I don’t hiss or spit – and some of these unruly little snipes around here do hiss at me. I confess. I am not particularly fond of other cats. Maybe I would be, if I met some with a bit of class. I am honest; I don’t do well with big galoots and snippy kittens. No.”

“With all the goings on around here, I just prefer my self-made hidey hole. You could make your own if you’d like a hidey-hole. See, you just crawl in one bed – and then pull another one over the top of you. Sure, it can get warm in there on hot days, but I’m going to appreciate my own ingenuity come winter.”

“It would be better, though, if I could go home with you to stay warm in winter, not have to be dragging a bed over my head. I’d like it if you would pet me. See? I have soft fur, rather pretty fur, I think. You know what? I don’t think I really care about meaning and purpose. I think I care about feeling happy – and feeling loved. The Emilys and Hildegardes can study meaning if they want. Tiffany, a lovely quiet woman, just wants happy and love.”

“Bring me some happy. I’d sit in your lap and offer you some happy. I had people once. We got divorced. I should know why, but I don’t. And “why” isn’t my things. Love and Happy and Now are my things. You could do it – make a gentle calico woman happy. Bring me Love and Happy – and bring Feline Rescue $120. That’s simple. I’m Tiffany.
