Did I Mention I'm Gorgeous?

“People, people, hello, hello! Am I totally gorgeous or what? I came to town for Glamorama, but I find out it’s not until August, so I need to find me a home – a good gorgeous home, of course. I’m already wearing my fabulous grey-and-white ‘70s retro disco outfit, so I’ll not be needing expensive clothes or anything.”

“You just don’t often see a fellow as gorgeous as I. I’ve noticed there are some gorgeous women around here – and some handsome men – but if you’re interested in a gorgeous guy, come talk to me. I just might be available. Yes, I might.”

“I’m friendly. I’m curious. It is not true that curiosity killed the cat. I look pretty alive, right? ‘Stayin’ alive, Stayin’ alive’. I explore. I sniff. Sniffin’ along, sniffin’ along….Say, you wouldn’t have a pair of bell bottoms I could borrow, would you? See, I’m friendly. I’m friendly and worldly wise – not streetwise, you understand, worldly wise.”

“Sure, I admit to disco, but, to tell the truth, I like disco balls better – all shiny and spinning and rolling and, whoo, I chase them while I dance. Hmmm – wouldn’t mind chasing her, either. Nice dilute calico lady over there. Excuse me while I roll upside down and watch her from the corner of my eye. Hmmm.”

“I am Camelot. So far as I can tell, I am pretty much a perfect cat. Old enough to know better, young enough to, well, disco and eye women with well-turned tails. I did mention that I am gorgeous, right? Friendly, sociable, intelligent, worldly wise, and very litter box observant. I think enough of myself that I would prefer to be your only cat. I cannot imagine that you would even want more cat than me.”

So how about this? Step over to Feline Rescue with $120. Look for the disco balls and find me – Camelot – all the cat you will ever need! I’ll get settled in with you – and then – then we will prepare for Glamorama. I intend to strut in style!
