“Hey, look me over, lend me an ear! I’ve just come from a good run on Broadway, and I am looking to settle down in my permanent good home. I danced in The Book of Mormon and also Rock of Ages. Energy, spirit, talent – all of the above – Dancer – now seeking a long-term role dancing in your kitchen and also sleeping in your lap.”

“I’m a small wiry woman with a tabby face and the mysterious crop circles of infinity on my back. I connect naturally with the indefinity of the universe, and I’d like to connect naturally with my people. I am proud and self-reliant – it’s not easy to build a career on Broadway and survive. Animal control got me more than once for sleeping in the parks. I’d like, from now on, to sleep on a good human bed.”

“I’m a free spirit with a deep soul. I like people, and I’d like very much to have my very own people. Just don’t expect that I’ll be all the things you expect that a cat might be. I might be – but I might not. I might dance for the solstices – and for the equinoxes. I might lay on my back and wash my toes. Or I might just sit very still and think.”

“I am annoyed with that leaping orange dude. You see him? He leaps on the roofs. He flies overhead and says, ‘Mow! Moowow!’ Thinks he’s big stuff. Well, I am little stuff, and I can dance. All he can do is fly. I even think Elton John sang about me! ‘Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand,
And now she's in me, always with me, Tiny Dancer in my hand.’ Doesn’t that sound like me?”

“I hope you think so. I hope you come by to meet me and fall in love and take your own Tiny Dancer home. I’ll be doing a long run in your show for just $120. I’m small and deep and free in soul. I’d like to be yours, too.”
