Truly Sweet Guy, Makes Speeches

Here I am! I am George! Just in time, too, I think. Are you running for some public office? Have you given so many speeches that you’re losing your voice? Here I am – I’ll lend you my voice – a pure and throaty Siamese orator I am. Whether you’re running for Park Board or President, George will give your speeches, sing your praises, march in parades, and get you elected – if, of course, you deserve to be.”

“I am friendly, outgoing, can’t get enough of people. I greet everyone. I love people. I climb on you and hug you. I look into your eyes with my wise blue eyes. And, for perfect voter persuasion, I then purr. And I mean Purr. I am George. I am big. I am handsome. I am declawed – don’t like that, but it happened. I am electable. Know that – I am electable. I hug people.

“Truth – I am an honest man. I have the FIV, which means I need to stay indoors and take care of myself and eat good food – no more raiding garbage cans. I am perfectly healthy and able to do whatever you might elect me to do. I can run for office. I can do the job. How about Rodent Patrol? Boy, will I patrol those vermin…. And when I relax, I really relax; note I offer Buddha-like serenity.”

“So how did such a stunning Siamese fellow without his claws end up behind a sign that says “Stray Cat?” I have no idea. I certainly did nothing to deserve it. I am a truly sweet guy. I could be your lap cat. Hire me for your campaign. Not running for office? OK, then let’s just talk cat talk – munchies, toys, a couple of good ear rubs….”

“Truth – adopt me. Take me home. Love me. I am George. I couldn’t be anybody except George. George likes you. George loves you. Do you love George? Bring $120 right on over here, and claim me as your forever cat. I hope you’ve enjoyed this speech. I’m George, and I approved this message. Mowaaoh!”
