Sweet gentle snowman

“Oh, yay! I have a visitor! Snowy loves visitors. Don’t be misled by my name – cold is certainly not me. I have a long-standing deal with the stuff I’m named for. If it comes around and makes you cold, I am here to warm you back up. Sit on your feet, sit in your lap, soothe you with powerful white cat energy.”

“I’m white, I’m white. I’m friendly. I’m curious. I am both mild-mannered and well-mannered. Notice, too, my sparkly blue eyes. I really like those laser lights. They sparkle red the way my eyes sparkle blue. One of these days I’m going to catch one and find out what it tastes like. So much good stuff I must tell you about me – because I am a very good cat. Only one unperfect message: I was out in the world for a while. I’m now 2 – 3 years old, and I picked up the FeLV. It means I need to stay indoors and take good care of my immune system. It also means I can’t consort with cats who don’t have it.”

“And that is my big problem – not the FeLV. I understand that. I can take care of my immune system. It’s not being able to hang out with other cats! I want to play. I want to chase. I want to pounce tails and touch noses and share munchies. And I’m all alone. I love people. I can play with people, sure. It’s great to be hugged. But, person, I need to tell you – you won’t run if I chase you, and, worse, you don’t have a tail for me to pounce!”

“I’m white, I’m white, I’m very white. I’m friendly, curious, and kind as can be. Here’s what I’d like you to tell the world. Snowy is looking for some wonderful people who have a wonderful cat – or two – who also picked up FeLV and who want to play pounce the tail, pounce the blankie, with Snowy. I can also live with dogs and humans without putting anyone in jeopardy.”

“That would be just heavenly. Snowy will keep his people warm because his namesake will be showing up – again. Visitor, visitor – please send Snowy’s message out. Snowy doesn’t have a Twitter account to send his own. He wants his people, and he sure would hope for another cat to play with him. Only $120 will cover my stay in this elegant private suite. I’m Snowy, and I’m a warm guy.”
