“Hi, there, human! I’m Jayce, and I’m friendly. Are you friendly? I’ll find out – I’ll taste your arm, give you my famous Jayce personal wash. Oh, you’re good, I can tell. I taste some Wellness – turkey and salmon, I think – on your arm. You wouldn’t happen to have some more with you, would you? We could become very, very good friends!”

“What’s my story? Well, I’ll just step right up and tell. I’m a pin-striped tabby fellow who somehow lost my front claws. Except for my lack of claws, I think I’m just about perfect, as cats go. I’m a bigger dude – not a big dude or a great big dude – but a bigger dude, as opposed to a smaller dude. I’m friendly, reasonably quiet, and an all-round nice guy. More?”

“Well, frankly, I can’t quite figure out what goes on around here. Some humans left me here – have no idea why, since I’m a fine guy. I’ve never been in a place like this. Do you notice there are more cats here than people? And that all the trees are fake? They’re wood, sure, but they don’t have leaves. Strange. But the people who are here seem to be servants to us cats. They bring food, they bring water, and they fix up our boxes when they get stinky. I can live with that, but….”

“I’d rather live with you. I’m very smart. If you have things you can’t quite figure out, you could just ask Jayce. Chances are, I’ll be able to figure it out for you. I’ll also be happy to wash your arm, also your hand, and tell fantastic stories. I’ll look out your windows and worry the squirrels. Squirrels deserve to be worried. And you could feed me more of that turkey and salmon.”

“How about it? Your very own pin-striped bigger dude – and friendly, too. Only $120 because, well, I have been eating things around here. Your life needs me! I’m Jayce!”

If you'd like to know more about me, just stop in at the Adoption Center to meet me or leave a message for my secretary at 651-642-5900 ext. 3. She'll call you back.
