To tell the truth, I'd rather be a mystery than solve mysteries. Imagine the all-knowing pose of Buddha - but with pointed ears and thick grey fur. Oh, and a well-crafted white bib. That would be me. The serene face and solid shape of the Buddha, inquiring within - and also without. Finding and understanding mysteries. Looking at them - and you - with kind green eyes. There is so much to study in this world - and in worlds beyond - I am inquiring for a mentor or a student. Looking for someone with whom to share and find answers.

I am still a young man, though clearly quite fully-grown. A while back, I wandered off to inquire. I went down the path to forever, seeking enlightenment - or a couple of tasty mice. I'll not say which. Maybe both. I guess I stepped onto the path of no return because it became nasty cold, and I had to ask for human help - and a little food. Kind people helped. We are kind to strangers, they said, because some strangers are true angels. (Which, of course, I might be.) But we never found the trailhead from which I'd started.

So here I am - seeking a warm, safe, permanent home - from which I promise to do no more seeking without. I shall continue to seek within; it is what we all must do - cats and people alike. I'd like to talk with you as I seek, and you may talk with me. I hope you will. I am angel, Buddha, fellow seeker, life companion, Cat. I don't much care for dogs; they just don't get it. I am Sherlock - a hero of a thousand faces. When I am not seeking enlightenment, I am very good with catnip, toys, and things that crackle. Bring my people friends $100, and let's head to your place and study mysteries.
