Noble, A Lover, Not a Fighter

Look into my round handsome thoughtful well-striped face and see, without a doubt, nobility in my eyes. I am wise and mellow. I will ride on your shoulders and survey my realm – as long as your shoulders are broad enough for a well-sized, well-tailored guy.”

“I lived outside for quite a while. People gave me food, and I managed my territory. I didn’t slay dragons – never saw any – but this noble knight did wield his claws in defense of a few fine maidens. A fellow has to manage all in his territory. Somehow, he acquired both the FIV and FeLV while doing so. Still, as you see, I might be the healthiest-looking fellow here.”

“But I know better than to be outdoors where I could burden my immune system. So I’m hoping to retire to your castle and tell tales at the round table about all the exciting and peculiar things that a knight encounters in the countryside and cityside. You’ll notice I show no scars of jousting with other knights. My ears are whole and perfect. My nose is on straight. Sir Grayson never had to fight. He just looked other dudes in the eyes, and they said, ‘Yes, Sir, this is your realm.’”
