“Hello, hello! I’m sweet and kind and friendly, and I’m calling to you in my quiet, friendly voice, so you’ll notice me and visit. Hello! Hello! Yes, you’re seeing a real Angel, an Angel who looks like a Siamese cat tree ornament, except I’m not a tree ornament that got misplaced. I’m a real, live, loving Siamese cat, and I would be delighted to climb your slightly dried out tree – and play with the ornaments.”

“What is this lovely Angel doing in a place like this? Well, first, this is a very nice place to be when one is in Minnesota in January and one is a cat. Nice place even if you’re not a cat – so long as you’re not a mouse. I lived way up in northern Minnesota, where it’s even colder than here. My person had to move to a nursing home. We hugged and cried. I came here to find you and start my new life as your Angel.”

“Speaking of mice, would you mind swinging that pink mouse on the stick one more time? Ooo-row! Ooo-row! Not a very Siamesey thing to say, but ‘Ooo-row!’ is how I feel about leaping and swatting and jumping after that pink mouse! Ooo-row! Could we play with the green one, too! These mice on strings are just the best things ever! Ooo-row!”

“Angel is a mighty hunter. She stalks. She sneaks, She pounces. She gets a mouthful of pink fake mouse fur. She is happy. She likes people. People are good. My new people will be a happy people. I am an Angel – a real Angel. Ooo-row! I expect you’ll all be standing in line to meet me. She and/or he who brings the most fun cat toys – and $120 – wins. I am Angel. I am happy. I love to play!”
