“I am as precious as jade, only much perkier. I’m Jade Love, a tiny tortie with fine orange symmetry in my perky tortie face. I like people. People are cool. I climb on you, people! I’m cuddle size. Just round enough to fit in your arms, look up at you, and say, ‘Aren’t I cute? Aren’t I charming?’”

“The world is so fascinating, don’t you think? Look at all this stuff in here. Cat toys, cardboard boxes, ribbons, strings, good, water, other cats. I will sniff all of it. It’s my job – sniffing stuff, poking stuff – Jade’s job. I jump up here and look down the hole. What’s down the hole? Well, well, a sleeping orange tabby guy. What’s out the window? A man, also a bus. The man went into the bus. Jade Love would not go into a bus. No, I’m strictly the indoor – stay warm – type.”

“Jade Love continues her perky, alert, purposeful patrol and inspection. Oh, my, what’s this? This box says ‘Sea Queen Fresh Frozen Fish Filets’! Sounds tasty! Aaak! That’s not fresh frozen fish – that’s Gloria – and she does not like being sniffed. Aaak! Why don’t you come play some cat games with me? I know, you’re a human – but what else does a human do other than play with cats? Isn’t that your reason for being?”

“Did I mention that I’m cute? That I’m charming? That I’m perfect cuddle size? That I know how to stand up on my back legs and ask for your lap? I’m small – don’t take up a lot of space – but I have a lot of cat love in my little cute self. I’m offering all that love to you if you’ll take me to your place as your forever cat – and tell me how much you appreciate my style and my runway perfect tortie style. $120 – not much for so much – Jade Love is ready.”
