“Hi, I’m about a year old, and I am looking to retire. Yes, retire. I’ve spent a long twelve months. I was a teenage mom – a kitten with kittens. The guy came. The guy went. Oh, they sing all low and sexy on moonlit nights, but guess who raised the little ones. I did it well, too. They’ve gone to their happy forever homes with happy people. Now it’s Olive’s turn to shine and play – looking for happy people with happy home!”

“I’m a very black and very white tuxedo woman. My black shines, and my white glows. I wash conscientiously at least every day, sometimes every night, too. I tell you this true story: it was coming toward winter, and it was cold. I had two little babies to protect. I’m a smart mama. I took my babies, and we all climbed into a heated birdbath. It didn’t have water, and it was warm. Also, I figured that food would come to us. Some did, but, strange, when the food saw cats instead of water, it flew off. So much for that idea.”

“A kind human found us there – whew! Brought us indoors, gave us real food – the “don’t have to catch it” kind – the good stuff. I raised my children well. I did. It’s my turn to play with the toys, to jump, to run, to giggle, and look out your windows and say, ‘I’m so happy that I’m no longer in a birdbath.’”

“All the change and upheaval in just one year of cat life has left me feeling a bit overwhelmed. Guy Cat singing like Joe Cocker, kittens, cold, dangerous, into the birdbath, into a home, into another home, and, now, here at Feline Rescue. I think, ‘Oh, my – what’s next?’”

“Here’s what I hope is next: you, my special people, find me, adopt me, and take me to your home where I live happily ever after for all nine of my lives. You love me and feed me and tell me I’m wonderful. I love you and tell you you’re wonderful. I keep my white very white and my black very black. Stop by with $120, and make it happen. Olive is waiting.”
