I'm a cool cat.

I'm a big sweet boy who was out fending for myself all winter. So maybe I didn't do a very good job of fending, because I was in rough shape by the time a kind person came along to rescue me.  

I'm friendly, loving,  and very mellow.  And did I mention handsome?  I'm starting to gain my strength and my weight back.  It's amazing what a warm house, love, and good food can do!

I love being on your lap or sleeping on the bed with one huge paw outstretched and touching you or curled up by your head.  I don't really meow, but I greet you with a sweet little chatter and a wiggle of my head.  I'm a lover but also a player. I love wand toys. And after dinner, I like to pounce in to the blankets like a cougar after my prey.

I'm FIV-positive which means I need to stay indoors and be fed a high-quality diet. It doesn't have to shorten my life or cause higher vet bills.   I can even live with cats that are negative, as long as we don't fight (and I have no plans to do any fighting). I don't like dogs, however.
