Also, so far as I know, he was not a Cat.  True, Wabokieshiek, a Ho-Chunk leader, also was not a Cat – but his name does translate to White Cloud. I do have an affinity for him; we share a fine name!”

“I walk this room quite freely. I love my soul brothers: we wrestle and chase and roll and play Cat games. I love little Hallie – she’s a bit wobbly, but she has kind eyes – and – I think she likes me. Me, I pretty much like everybody. I’m easy. OK – I also like myself. How could anyone, even me, not like me? I am handsome – and, of course, quite White. And, yes, I have a mysterious dash of blue-grey in my excellent tail. It’s real. It’s mine. Please do not give my tail a bath.”
