I’m Ebony -- which is my name and my color! I lived in a foreclosed home with many, many other cats who were all left without food or water. All of us have now been rescued, which is such a relief since many of those guys and gals were my good friends.

Right now I am in foster care with another cat from the same house, Tucker. We and the resident cats all get along just fine, but I’m ready for a permanent home now, maybe even with one of  my friends? I really get along well with all cats and would love to be in a home where I have at least one other cat to cuddle and play with.

With my background you can imagine that it’s a little hard for me to trust just any old human. But I get along great with my foster mom and even enjoy being petted. I also really love to play … and you should see me chase flies! I will be a great companion for anyone who is willing to give me just a little extra time to adjust to a new environment.
