Did you know that June is Adopt-A-Cat Month? It is. Really. And I am so waiting for you to adopt Me! I'm young, sweet, and very, very black. What you'll notice first about me, I suspect, is that I have an immense vocabulary. I don't just say "Meow!" or "Meahh!" or "Eeek-squeak?" I deliver pleasant and thoughtful orations containing many words: Arrew, Rbble, Seahh, Hmmm, Ma-rah, and more. And all the time I'm talking I am looking up at you and asking, "Did you ever see anyone so cute and charming?" Of course you haven't.
I understand that someone brought me to Feline Rescue because I was strolling around Crocus Hill with no apparent place to go. What happened is this: I was trying to go all the way to Washington, D.C., for the National Spelling Bee because, with my verbal repertoire, I didn't see how I could lose. But I got confused by all the things with domes - a cathedral, a state capitol - and ended up in Saint Paul instead of DC. I guess I'd better stay indoors and read the dictionary from now on.
So, could I stay indoors at your place? Oh, please! Not only am I smart, I am also totally entranced with people. People have such interesting paws; I love to nuzzle those paws. And I'm outgrowing this bed I've borrowed. I love to stretch - see how long I am? But I almost fall out. I'm thinking you have a new kitty bed for little black me. A sofa, basket, divan, davenport, chair, chaise, kitty tower - any or all for me. So, "Arrew? Bring $100 and pay my hotel bill? Seahh?"
PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
