“Oh, we’re the cutest little sisters that you’ll ever see, we sing and trill, and we’d like to climb trees, we’re kittens, we’re cats, we’re extroverts! We’ll make you laugh, we’ll make you sing, stop by and see us, let’s have a fling!”

If you doubt the song, stop by and meet the singers. Hera’s the grey tweenager; Athena’s black. They don’t act much like goddesses, but they are – and powerful ones, too. Athena, according to ancient Greeks, led men into battle and was the most brilliant of all Zeus’s children. Around here, she leads herself into battle with formidable foes – like water bowls and pink feathers. Hera, of course, was Zeus’s wife – and also his sister – but we won’t discuss that….She’s afraid of nothing – even that very large Siamese-ish fellow downstairs.

“We are young, we are fast, we have tails, we have ears! We’re cute, we’re cuter, we’re cutest of all – and we might steal the boys’ beers! Meehaa! We have places to go, things to do, and we came all the way from Marshall, MN, just to find YOU!” Are you found? Are we found? We are snipes; we are silly. And oh, are we cute!

We show you now our Famous Stick Trick. This Stick has pink feathers on one end and a knob on the other. (At least, it had pink  feathers when Athena found it – might not any more….) Athena grabs the feathers in her little sharp teeth. She does the Gila Monster and refuses to let go. Hera doesn’t like feathers in her teeth, especially not pink ones. But, oh, can she give that knobby end a good chew – and a few well-place hind leg kicks, woo-hoo!

Ha! Mere human! You’re LYAO and ROFL! Ha! We are tweenagers, and we text and tweet about YOU! Take us home if you dare. C’mon, take us home. You can’t resist, we know you can’t. We’re cute, we’re cuter, we’re cutest of all! You know we are. We are. We are. Sell some old worthless stock, raise $200, and bring us the cash. We’ll give it to Feline Rescue for all the water bowls we killed, and YOU will take our cutenesses home! Meehaa!

PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
