Ohhh....pardon me while I stretch slowly and wake up from my late morning nap. Ahhh....thank you. Late morning naps are good. So are mid-morning naps and early afternoon naps and late afternoon naps and ..... Time to wake up - you look like you might be a friend. Are you a friend? Oh, good! I'm a friend, always a friend. Quiet, dignified, curious, loving friend. Just an all-round nice young man - a bit preppy, perhaps, but not so preppy as to be boring. Pardon me while I smile....I am smiling.

What do I do other than nap? I meditate - meditation differs from napping - one must sit with one's head upright and close one's eyes to meditate. Napping - well, that's when I bury my nose under my paw or, maybe, my tail. I also watch TV if I can find one. In my earlier days, I found a human or two with nice laps where I could sit and watch television. Things that move - tennis matches are good. Also nature shows, migrating flocks of birds (yum!), butterflies. Since I can't find a TV here at Feline Rescue, I've been watching Sunflower fly about the room. She hits the ball, then moves so fast that she volleys it back to herself, then does it again. I wonder if she'd let me in the game. (Fun!)

Oh, about my name... it's simple: my rescuers knew that I am a tomboy, so they just started calling me "Tom-ers". Smart folks!

Oh, you want to know about my six white hairs? What's a gorgeous, soft-soft-soft black fellow doing with six white hairs scattered here and there? No, I didn't get in a fight with a paint brush. They're mine. All mine. Are they real? Maybe. Maybe they are extensions. Maybe I'll go to the salon and get pink ones next week. No, you don't have to pay for those. However, to find this dignified, almost regal, black fellow sitting in your lap watching your TV, you will need to bring $100 - and your loving self - for me. Ahhh....time for early afternoon nap, I think. Bye.
