Maddie lost her home and was lucky enough to be taken in by a kind Feline Rescue volunteer.  She's a lovely cat who needs a loving and understanding family willing to give her a little time to settle into a new home.

Maddie is about 6 years old, spayed, declawed front and back. She was rescued from a farm where she had been dropped off to be a mouser. Needless to say, she did not like living on a farm and stayed huddled in the barn. She was taken inside but now needs to find a new home because she didn't get along with her family's new puppy. Poor Maddie needs a home where her needs are a priority for a change. All she asks is to be secure and loved and to be allowed to be herself. 

Maddie has beautiful and unique tabby markings.  She is a sweet cat and sometimes likes to have her ginger-colored tummy rubbed. Sometimes she will crawl into her foster person's lap-- but just for a little while.  Then she is off to her own chair.  She's tried all the chairs and warm spots in the house and has decided she likes them all!

Maddie  would enjoy being the only pet in the house. Other animals make her nervous.  She would be the perfect companion for someone who leads a quiet life in a quiet home.   She is not shy, but she likes routine.
