“Hello, hello! I see you! I’m coming over to check you out. Are you fine, fluffy, and friendly like me? I’m a girl cat, a happy and playful girl cat. And, no, I have no idea where my name came from. I certainly don’t look like layered pasta. I’m told by a couple of the long-timers that, sometimes, the person who assigns names around here gets hungry. I’m just glad she wasn’t thinking Mostacciolli; I can’t spell that one.”

“So, here I am, waiting for my people. Want to be my people? I like laps, toys, even other cats, so long as they’re not named Garfield and thinking to eat me for lunch. I play games with my roomies here. I like to stay on the move, looking for friends – and also for food. When I find some, I eat it – and then I look for a nice girl-cat-sized bed and curl up for a nap.”

“I confess I am having a bad hair day. I am such a fluffy woman with a very fluffy tail. But I know you can’t see today how lovely I am. Static! Dry air! Low humidity! Lasagne does not like these things. They just ruin me! If you’re thinking to come and visit me – which would be really a nice thing to do – how about some conditioner? Also, I’d prefer if you’d not wear your yoga pants, not unless you want to seek sparks fly. That’s what will happen when I come running over and rub your legs. Snap! Pop! Both of us.”

“Pay attention to my little white feet. They’re not having a bad hair day. And you’ll just have to imagine how glorious my tail is when it’s not full of electricity. I am glorious. I can even be spritely when I feel like it. I think I’m pretty. That philosophical black and white guy thinks so, too.
