Agatha and Fuzzy are a sister and brother from a litter born last fall. Their mother was a stray living outdoors on Saint Paul’s East Side. A kind homeowner had been feeding them, and the mother cat was used to surviving tough conditions. But when the ‘mother of all winters’ set in it was clear that these tiny kittens were too small and vulnerable to survive outside. With help from Feline Rescue volunteers, they were caught and given a warm foster home. During that time they have grown and are learning to trust humans, though they still are still very shy and wary of strangers.

Now roughly five months old, Agatha and her brother Fuzzy are both very cute with distinctive gray and white markings. Fuzzy has long hair and a grey patch on his nose. Agatha has shorter hair and is mostly gray on her face and back. Both are playful, curious, and a little naughty. They will hide when strangers are around and need to be given space to feel safe. They like their human companions and love to play but do not want to be picked-up. When they feel comfortable, they love to be petted. They do well with other cats but likely are not great with kids or dogs. Once they get to know you they will both come running at the sound of a bag of treats being opened and will even jump on the lap of someone offering food.

Fuzzy and Agatha need to be adopted together because they have a close bond. Someone with a heart for more independent, shy cats will love these two litter-mates. They would love a home with enough room for them to play and wrestle, with a cat bed in a sunny window for them to nap after they have tired themselves out. Fuzzy and Agatha have a lot of kitten energy and will need a scratching post or similar claw friendly furniture. Both kittens have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. They both tested negative for Feline Leukemia and are fully vaccinated.
