Sugar and spice and everything nice - that's what little girls are made of. Surprise - femininity is not gone. I am here, and I am as feminine as feminine gets. I'm a girl - and proud of it. Please understand - girlish doesn't mean shrinking and scared. No, ma'am, it does not. It means pretty and sweet and soft and given to lace and ruffles and ribbons and bows and girly things. It means I like to cuddle and purr and sing soft lullabies to myself. I'm made of soft colors, many of them, and I'd rather be dainty than swing from the rafters.

I've been doing a lot of world studying since I arrived here. I'm learning wise ways from other cats, what's good to eat, what's not, and how to swat a toy. One of the guys - big swaggering dude - offered to teach me bad words! Can you imagine! I said, "No, thank you, I am a lady."

I once lived with people, but they disappeared. Some other kind folks brought me food, but it wasn't like having a real home. A real lady needs a real home, don't you think? With some bows and ribbons - that I do not promise not to chew? I didn't say I planned to wear them, after all.

The tail - or lack thereof. Yes, it's been mentioned a few times. I have some tail, just not much. It pleases me to twitch it when I'm pleased. I might have learned that from a dog I met once. It's fun. And other cats can't pounce my tail - not long enough. I think it's cute. Actually, I think I am cute. Don't you? Let's meet - face to face, nose to nose. You'll see what a total sweetie I am, and you'll cheerfully give $100 to take me home. Sugar and spice, everything nice - me - Pansy - your new, young, adorable cat.
