“Good afternoon, I am Tennessee, a fine lady, a gently dilute calico, looking for a fine home for a fine cat – me. I am dignified, well-mannered, and quite thoughtful. You may pet me, and I will purr. I think I’m about three years old, and, somewhere, somehow, I lost my front claws. Thus, I’m being very careful about getting into it with any of these other cats.”
“I am Tennessee, and I am gentle and proud. I fancy myself sleeping, all sprawled out, across my person’s bed, dreaming of spring and warm butterflies. Person Mine, you may dream with me, and we will await spring together. I am a good, warm woman.”
“ I am hoping for good, warm people with whom I can cuddle safely. I came from some place else, not Minnesota – but also not Tennessee. I don’t remember, and I don’t really care so long as I can go with you to my own home forever. I thought I had my own room here at Feline Rescue, but it seems that, a long time ago, some guy cats declared this room to be their poker room! Now, these guys come diving in here – and eat my food – my food! – and shuffle their cards. It appears they are playing for munchies – My Munchies!”
“A fine lady cat, named for the Volunteer State, does not need nor deserve all this guy cat ruckus. She deserves love and respect and real cat people and a soft, snuggy bed in which to sleep. Pet me again, I would like to purr. I am Tennessee. For $120, I am yours – and you are mine!
