When I Know I'm Safe, I Chase Toys

“Hi! I’m Biggie Oliver, and I’m a handsome grey tuxedo fellow with well-groomed white feet. I am here with my brother Cream who is a handsome grey tabby, also with white feet. Cream protects me from unknown beings that might step on me. That’s why I’m in the back of this box, and he’s out front, saying, ‘Who goes there? Friend or foe?’”

“I’d love to have some people friends. I love my brother, but we need people who love us. See, we don’t have a can opener, and we also don’t know where the cans come from, so we need some people friends. I’d love on you if you’ll love on me. I’m a nice guy. And it sure would be nice if you had a can opener.”

“I’d love to have a family – with people in it. I’d love a family that has toys for cats so I can play. When I know I’m safe, I come out of this box, and I chase toys. I love to play. I'm quite good at it. I was on the honor roll at play school. Sometimes, I even giggle. Embarrassing, but this handsome guy cat giggles. My brother makes sure there are no not-nice people, no possums, and no lizards out there waiting to get me. When he says, ‘Go, Biggie O!’, I go, and I rumble after those furry faux mice. I especially like the ones that glitter. Cream likes them, too, but he’s more reserved. He needs to keep watch while I play.”

“Want to be my family and play with me? I'll pause for a moment if you want to kiss my big ol' cheeks. I'm a sweet boy that has a lot of enthusiasm for toys. And anything and everything is a toy to Biggie Oliver.  Want Cream to be part of our family, too? We’re excellent young men. I know nothing about my name – Biggie Oliver – absolutely nothing. I could make up stories, but they would be pure feline fiction. So, let’s do this: how about you come visit me and Cream at Feline Rescue? How about you consider adopting us?
