“’Alley-Oop, oop, oop, oop-oop, Well, this cat's name is-a Alley-Oop, Alley-Oop, oop, oop, oop-oop’ It’s me, it’s me, queen of the jungle jive. I’m not scary. I’m very tame, very sweet, and I don’t swing through trees. I’m peaceful and cute, soft and kind. I am furry, though. A proud tabby girl with one peach-colored foot and looking for a home.”
“Alley Oop is just a couple of years old, and she says, ‘Ignore all that jungle jive thumping. I’m not doing it, and I never will.’ That song is 45 years old, and I am not! It’s true I tell stories, but they are good stories, never scary. Just interesting. I like being Alley Oop because the name keeps the big, burly guys away.”
“See what a fine girl I am? I have ear tufts and toe tufts, too. Very stylish, very attractive. Every serious girl cat should have ear and toe tufts! I use my special peach paw to wash my tufted ears. It’s important to me that my ears be clean. Perhaps you’re looking for a cat with clean ears – and a peach bath sponge with which to wash them? I hope? I hope?”
“Oop, oop, oop, oop-oop….I’m named for the cave man, even though I’m a cave woman who doesn’t much care for caves. I am hairy and furry. If you have something that you would like to have decorated with fur, I would be pleased to do that for you. Mostly, though, I’d be pleased if you would pet me and fall in love and take me home. It’s not hard; I’m a kind woman. Just bring $120. I could learn to wash your ears with my built-in peach bath sponge – but only if you want me to!”
