“I’m a sand-colored tabby, more sand than stripes. If I were in Africa, I suppose I’d be wild, and I’d be called a sand cat. Sand cats can blend into desert surrounds better than a sidewinder, but the only thing we have in common with snakes is that we both eat rodents. I would eat a rodent if it presented itself – yes, I would – but, mostly, I am just a mellow sand-colored fellow. I like naps and people who pet me. And I’m not terribly fond of rattlers. If I were thinking to hide in a pile of sand, I’d want to be sure one of them wasn’t in there with me.”

“Sad to say, I picked up the FeLV somewhere in my itinerant career. Some of those funerals we played were rather wild – too wild, I guess. So I’m looking to settle down with some real people and, maybe, a red-headed lady cat who also has the FeLV – that would be good.  Ready to become a kind, loving, affectionate indoor kind of guy.
