For me and for my two roomies, Chi Chi and Callaway. I love people. I love Chi Chi and Callaway. I wash their ears; they wash mine! Wooo!”

“I’ll be up front with you all because Eagle doesn’t know any other way to be. I’ve tested positive for FeLV. I’m healthy and happy now, and I hope to stay that way. But I also know that young guys like me – I think I’m about 6 months old – when we have FeLV, often from our moms, well – we don’t always get all nine of our lives. I’m hoping for 4 or 5 lives – and for spending them with happy people and, maybe, some other cats, happy ones like Chi Chi and Callaway.”

“However many lives I have, I’m going to make the most of them. I’m going to run up and down, down and up, this room. I’m going to climb the walls, look out the windows, and say ‘Woo hoo hoo! I’m an Eagle! I’m The Eagle!’ I’m going to bounce, jump on people’s laps, and play, play, play!”

“Ah- hee! I see the peacock feather! I grab the peacock feather. I poke my friend Chi Chi with it. She loves me. I love her. She and Callaway – my best bud – also have FeLV. We do our best to take care of each other. That’s what good loving cats do, and we are good, loving cats. We can’t live with cats who don’t have FeLV, but we can live with each other - and with you – and be happy together.”
