“Good afternoon. They call me Queen because I’m bigger than a princess but certainly a lady. People say I’m beautiful, and I do feel that I am. People also say I’m fluffy, but I don’t think people should be saying that about a full-grown, 5-year-old lady. I think it would be better to say that I am elegant. I am elegant. What else should I say?”

“I am as sweet and loving as a cat woman can be. I like to talk to people. I also like to wash them. Now, some cats I’ve known wash people to taste them, maybe in preparation for dinner! Queen does not do that. She washes you because she likes you, wants to love you, wants you to love her back. You can tell that I once had some people. I know how to make people happy and how to make them feel at home with me. Somehow, I ended up without any personal people, just a few folks from animal control who encouraged me to come to Feline Rescue. I’m very happy I’m here – the food is good, and the blankets are soft. If I only had some love….”

“You’re right – I don’t look like Freddie Mercury – not at all. But I can sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” – ‘Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality.’ But I promise: I will only sing it during daylight. Promise. Also, I won’t sing “We Are the Champions” because we haven’t had any champions around here for a long time.”
