Spicy, Playful, Ready to Dance

“Hi, there! We’re the Spice Girls – or, maybe, the Herb Girls. We are sisters, about two years old, and we’ve done the single mom thing – and we do not care to do it again. We say our babies were cute, and we loved them and washed them. But that’s it – we are now ready to dance for ourselves.”

“Cardamom is black and white. She knows many things but doesn’t talk much about what she knows. Chamomile is dark grey – probably part Russian Blue. She is dignified and aloof. She is lovely to see and lovely to pet. She smiles like Mona Lisa and lets you know she has secrets.”

“Cardamom believes she rules the Universe. She cannot understand why all these other cats are in it. ‘I am sure I did not invite them. Where did they come from? Sis, surely you didn’t invite them?’ And, now, one of them – way over there – is yelling. Cardamom does not allow yelling in her Universe. She calls for law and order. Chamomile thinks to herself, ‘A lot she knows. She will learn. Sis, yes, you will learn.”

“We are fine young women, and we’d like to adopt you. We’d like to decorate your place. We blend into most styles – colonial, French modern, Ikea, and grad student eclectic. We know how to purr. We are usually polite, although, sometimes, Cardamom flies across the room just to prove she can. Clicks her claws and sails – because it’s fun.”

“So, may we adopt you? We are ready to dance – for ourselves and for you. We are also ready to take long naps in sunny windows. We are spicy and playful – and we smell nice! Just $230 brings two lovely fur women into your life. Come to Feline Rescue; you’ll be glad you did!”
