Did you know that Camp Ripley is a winter training facility? I was named after Camp Ripley because I survived a Minnesota winter on the streets of St Paul. That is until a kind person saw me wandering the alleys and took me into a warm apartment and gave me food! Now I am living a pampered life with my foster family. Whenever anyone comes to my foster home I love to greet people by rubbing up against their legs and weaving in and out of the group. When I rub up against you that's your cue that I would love a nice gentle pet from my ears to my tail! At meal time I like to talk to you about what I dreamed about overnight and what I did while you were at work! I'm not overally chatty but if you talk to me I might talk back! Want to binge watch a Netflix series?? I might like to join you on the couch and lay next to you. I like to lay with my back to you to make it easier for you to give me the occasional scratch on my head, cheeks or under my chin. I know it's likely to be a 45 minute show so 2 or 3 pets during the time is just perfect for me! Don't be offended if I fall asleep while you are watching -- you can catch me up on what happened the next time we watch. Do you have windows I can look out or a chair I can call my own? Would you like me to follow you around some to see what you are doing? I am a young adult cat so I am still curious and like to keep tabs on my peeps! I love to play with a wand feather toy and when we are done playing together please give me a couple treats then I feel like I "hunted" something and ate my prey!! I am very confident and my foster family says I am the only cat they've had that doesn't hide when the vacuum cleaner comes out. I have shared my foster home with a dog -- I don't mind the dog too much as long as the pooch respects my catitude. I am a tortie that means I am tri-color so it's like getting 3 cats all in one! If you'd like to see more pictures of me go to my foster family’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/debbiesfosterkitties.
