“We are sisters, grey and graceful, and pretty as figure skaters. We are fluffy, long-haired grey charmers. We are ladies. I guess we have to tell you about our names. We were born during the Winter Olympics at Sochi, so we’re about two years old. The humans who were caring for our mom were watching the figure skaters – thus, Axel and Salchow. As far as we know, we did not have a sister named Triple Loop. I’m afraid she’d have quickly become Loopy…”

“Yes, we know, not sure that the humans did, that Axl Rose  does heavy metal and industrial rock and has no “e” in his name. And, sorry, Axl, but we are prettier than you. Personally, we are soft and quiet, inclined to Mozart string quartets and harpists. We like good food – fish and chicken – and we like people. Other cats are OK, we guess, but we don’t know much about them. We know about each other. Sometimes, we wash each other’s heads, especially noses.”

“You can tell us apart only because one of us has a larger bib. Do we remember which of us? Uh, no. But we have great faith that you’ll figure it out, that you’ll pet us and love us, and tell everyone what pretty girl cats we are. Because we are. We think it would be just lovely if you have a big grey sectional with big pink flowers that we can decorate. Still, if you’re our forever people, it’s fine if you have a grubby green futon on which your former cat practiced her championship routines.”
